Pre-race routine:

Arrived ridiculously early but walked last part of the course so knew where finish line was situated. Drank bottle of carbohydrate drink.
Event warmup:

5 minutes gentle run as warm-up.

Comments:

Started easily, gradually built pace over course of event. Had to stop on last lap to re-tie shoelaces but managed to equal PB set previous month.
What would you do differently?:

Start further towards the front of the group so as not to take 10 seconds before crossing start line; remember when calculating pace that it is 6.25 miles, not 6.

Warm down:

5 minutes gentle run as cool-down. Stretched at home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Shoelaces coming undone!
