Anybody do this? Tips? Sitting at home right now packing up a bag of supplies to keep at work. Thinking I'll just pack my work clothes into my small camelbak (bladder removed), though I do need to wash it (stinky!!!).I've been biking to work, but they're still working out where I can keep my bike - not to mention riding with traffic in the rain is not so appealing. And when winter hits I'd rather be running on icy/snowy roads than biking. My commute is getting longer and more productive!

Personally, I'd drive once a week with clothes for the week, snacks, etc. Then you don't have to worry about wrinkles or how much you can carry.

It depends what facilities you have and how often you do laundry.  I second the weekly drive with to swap out laundry.  Carry as little as you need to.  Lights and reflective gear is extra important especially when running in the dark and the rain.  Commuters just don't look for people.

Have a back up plan for those days when things fall through (late meetings, injuries, sickness ) while you're at work without a car.

I did it, 2-3 times a week.  I would bring in a bag the day before with work clothes, so it was there when I got there.  I used a Camel Back to carry wallet, keys, phone and cash.

In the shower?

I bike to work, and I do the drive-in once a week to carry in supplies.  Typically, I'll keep two suits and dress shoes in my office, then just carry a clean shirt, socks, etc., in a backpack each day.  Friday is casual (read: jeans), and it's a pretty casual environment to begin with, so khakis work just as easily as a suit.  Lots of flexibility with regard to attire and a shower on-site really help make this a no-brainer.

I'm 8 miles away from work. It'd take me an hour. I might consider it on some long run days. I need to check if we have a shower at work. I go run on my lunch breaks sometimes but I just wipe myself off in the bathroom and then put my work clothes back on. Sometimes I just go run right before the end of my shift so I don't have to change and I just leave 10-15 minutes after my run...

I did this for a while while out East. The only problem was that I worked about 12 miles from where I lived. I would run out with a track bag on my back carrying the basics and then take the metro home. Because of the distance, I only did this 3 times a week. On Fridays, I would actually run both ways. My office was great though because it had a small shower in the basement, and I arrived earlier than everyone.
