Doesn't get a lot better than that...

Swim 800m: 18:27, including the run out. 2:11/100m. My previous best OWS? 2:31/100m.

Bike 19.5mi: 50:47, 23.00mph pace. 45th of 493 finishers. My previous fastest bike split? 21.6mph--on a shorter ride.

Run 5K: 26:01, 8:40 pace. My Garmin says they cut the course short, but it said I ran a 9:24 pace. Still a triathlon 5K PR.

I know the swim and run still suck, but they're getting better, and today they got drastically better! My final result was 157th of 493, which put me in the top 1/3--just barely, but do the math!

Nice work, Pete. Solid bike, too...keep after it, and the swim and run will come around.

Feels damned good, too, doesn't it?!

Absolutely awesome. I've definitely found my off-season gift to myself. Great handling, very stable in the crosswinds, and that sound...

Thanks, man... and yes, it does feel damned good. I was all giddy--actually I still am. I know the endorphin crash is coming but for now I'm just gonna ride the wave.

Great job. Especially on the bike - that's a solid time. Get your run to comparable paces, and you'll be killing it out there even with your swim.
