305 help needed

have you installed the garmin communicator plug-in? If so, what happens when you go to the test page?

 I'm getting "plugin is regognized" now. I wasn't getting that earlier. I can get info from the gps to garmins trainer program w/out problem.  any ideas?

4. no error message
5. The next steps
    "Garmin Communicator Plugin is properly installed & up to date"
    Test Page:" Garmin Communicator is properly installed"
    Did web Updater:" no updates found"
When I click on upload: get a window " Plugin Not Installed Exception: Garmin Communicator Not Detected"
I then click on "Garmin Communicator"
get message "Communicator successfully installed".

I'm not a computer guru. Where am I going wrong?

What happens when you try this Test page?

Sorry for the delay in replying, I neglected to put this on my follow-up list.  Check your PMs for a message I sent you yesterday.

The Garmin Training Center application doesn't use Communicator so that isn't much of a help in pinning this down. The problem appears to be at the browser, it's definitely failing before it gets to any of our code.

The version of Communicator I have installed on my machines in 2.9.2, so there is a later version available than what you have installed.  It may be worthwhile to uninstall and then reinstall the plug-in.

Have you tried this with another browser eg Firefox or Chrome?  

switched to foxfire and info loaded fine.

Just purchased my 305 last night at work... and found time to charge it today!! Plan to play with the features over the weekend and have a training - coffee - tutorial date with a friend set for Tuesday! Glad there is a support network here for those of us new to the "fold"
