Subject: Hi Everyone... Just decided today to try a triathalon this July. I am a good swimmer (haven't done it for awhile - but swam competition for a long time in my younger years! ) and I have been biking a lot lately, mostly - well, always - pulling my two children behind me (adds about 70 lbs! ). The running part will be my hard portion, I think, and the overall endurance part.
A little about myself besides the above - I am a stay-at-home mom of two (almost 3 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old ). I am 32 yrs old. I have been attempting to diet on and off since I can remember. I'm not totally out of shape - but not totally in shape either. A friend of mine just suggested to me today that maybe I'd like to try a triathalon, and it really felt right. I think I need that 'goal' in mind to really make myself workout more often and harder.
So here I am. Hope to meet many of you via this forum. Thanks for reading my little blurp! I'll be a good listener and cheering section for you! I'll need that from you, too!
