Subject: Graphs are Black??

I'm sure it's a setting on my computer because they work fine at work, but when I view the Planned vs Actual graph or my actual minutes graph the entire graph screen is black.  The only way I can view it is if I roll my mouse over one of the bars within the chart.  Anybody know of any settings I have to adjust on my computer?

Thanks.

Try updating your JAVA -

http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

But is this NOT happening to the other minigraph or the 'big' graphs?

If you have a Mac, I think they have their own Java update too...

It's only happening on the Planned v Actual graph and total volume graph.  I updated Java (thanks), but it's still not showing unless I roll the cursor over an actual bar in the graph.

Thanks again.

What type/version of your browser are you using?  Maybe Marmadaddy can jump-in or will have the other programmer look into it.

<p>In Windows + will copy the image on your monitor to the clipboard.</p><p> There's a note on the website for the graphing software regarding black boxes instead of charts from having the DirectX SDK on your computer. If you don't know what this is, then you almost definitely don't have it. </p><p>Something else you can do is place your mouse over the box where the graph should be, and look at the status bar of your browser. There may be a message there that could be helpful in figuring this out.<br /></p>

I know you didn't mean take ana ctual "shot" of my screen, but I am not sure how to do screen shot without having software, so i literally took photo of screen. Photos are as follows:

1st shot is Planned v Actual with some new colors(usually black)

2nd shot is when cursor is actually over one of the bars in graph(displays fine)

3 & 4th shots are same as above except with total volume graph.

Now if photos do not open in thread, and only link is provided, well then that's another issue I am having. :-)

I don't know how to attach multiple photos in one post...I created a photo album with the 4 photos I am talking about.  Hope this helps and thanks for helping

Look at this thread, it may be a monitor setting called 'anti aliasing'

Another user had pretty much the exact same issue, if you can read the latter part of this thread where 'matt' does the talking, maybe if you can locate that 'anti-aliasing' setting for you monitor, that will fix it.
