OK, I'm liking this show more and more.  So bizarre and cool and funny.  Tonight's episode was just plain kooky.

I tried watching it last week and again last night, in the event that I just didn't get it last week. I still couldn't get into the show, so I started after dinner kitchen cleaning and the lovely wife turned on KidNation.

I love this show...It is very well written, quirky and funny...I didn't see all of last nights episode, but we recorded it, so will see it later...but the parts I did see, made me laugh out loud.  Really loving this show...now that I have said that...it will be canceled, because it may just be too quirky for the majority of the public.

I just don't see how they can really make the story go anywhere beyond a few episodes - would have been a better movie premise. And I do agree that it's too stylized for the vast majority. (I caught the first episode as a second run on Friday night while I was babysitting). And Kristen Chenoweth kinds of bugs me (I know, that's like musical theatre sacrilege to say that - she actually came and did a workshop at my college - she's TINY). But Woof, let's play "name the other not-as-famous cast member, but still infamous actress from the theatre world for her performance in an equality kitschy dark comedy" - and go...

Flpping the channels last night came across it.  I'm aware of the premise, was curious to see how it would play out in story arcs.

Now, I like quirky, used to watch Ally McBeal (can't believe I said that....), Boston Legal, all quirky.  Like Tim Burton movies.  But this one, I just didn't get.

Yeah, I laughed out loud last night.  Like the scene where the guy running the electric car company takes off after them... and you see him drive off in a Hummer.  Classic.

I really enjoy this show.  I didn't realize Kristen Chenowith was a singer, but that bit last night with "Hopelessly Devoted to You" really cracked me up.

Kristen Chenoweth is a Broadway actress. She actually started her training in opera, but endied up breaking into musical theatre instead. She came to my college (a very competitive performing arts conservatory along the lines of Julliard) and did a workshop, and she told us a little bit about how she got into the business.
