Subject: Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas CO BT get together?

Would anybody be interested in getting together to meet other BTer's in the area? I've noticed a lot are in the area, but wouldn't know if I am racing against any if I bumped into them. I think it would be pretty cool to get together and meet some of my fellow BTer's and go for a ride or run or swim. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I'm riding 50 at Van Fleet trail in Polk City on Sunday if you want to play.

What no Pasco well I work in Hillsborough so that might work.

I'd definatly be interested in getting together since I was late for the bike ride a few weeks ago. I definatly want to know what you look like so I can watch out for you in a race as it seems you like to bump into people and I fall over easily.

I am in. There is a very large Tampa BT group that gets together quite regularly so if you can suck one of them in the rest are sure to follow. They already have weekly training sessions so it might be easy to just join up with them since the schedule is in place.

What days would be good? This weekend I'm booked up, but the weekend of Aug 9 and 10th would be best for me, I'm racing the following weekend @ Ft Desoto. Is the Suncoast Trail the best place to meet for a ride? Or is there something more centrally located? Or would people be more up for a run or swim? Let me know.

I'd be interested as well. Van Fleet makes for a nice ride, flat and straight. But maybe something in Tampa area is better, the North Tampa trail is nice, but shortish. For the real animals we could do Withlacoochee State Trail, its 46 miles long!

i live in Ocala, but i've been going to Withlacoochee for some training runs....i can meet there is anyone wants to go there for a ride. i'm headed there Monday for a ride, but after that it'll be next week since i have my first Tri next Sunday. but i'm always up for Withlacoochee....fun, peaceful, and quiet place to ride
