I'm heading out tomorrow evening, usual time (5:15-5:30ish) to break the 2:00 hour time barrier (i.e. the mental road block in my head).  I'm pretty sure Jen/runnergirl will be joining me for some of it... anyone else?  I'd like to head over to Kensington first and then come back to IL but am a touch unsure of the detour around the construction area.  I will NOT be pushing the speed limit (Glen!), but I would love company!!

Can't make it Thursday night, but the route between ILRA and Kensington is real easy. I assume you know where the connector trail is from ILRA to Kensington that's closed, just follow the other paved trail that heads east. It hit's Kent Lake Rd, which leads right into Kensington. Unless something bad happens on the freeway, the road is pretty quiet especially with Grand River being closed.

When the wife and I rode it in the last week or two, just watch out on you return leg from Kensington under I-96 (light was kinda of iffy mid day, it would be even worse in the eve) there appeared to be quite abit of glass to the right of the white line, so stay in the lane of traffic if safely doable.

Wish we could join you.

Sushi, are you going out tomorrow or Thursday?  You said "usual time" and that is the usual Thursday time.

Oh yeah- you're right!  Not "tomorrow", but Thursday!  Thanks Jo!

Sorry Jaclyn I too will not be able to make it. With my daughter's school, work, projects, etc. I don't think I will be able to make many more Thursdays (if any). I did enjoy the training and meeting everyone. Let me know if anyone is up for Stoney Creek sometime!

Okay, since it sounds like I'll be riding solo, I'm probably going to head out there a lot earlier to miss more of the traffic/gravel train action between the two parks.  If anyone wants a ride after lunch (say 2ish) on Thurs., send me a PM!

Sorry that I work in a rediculously far away place and cannot make it down with enough time to actually ride this week.

 Boooooo for sucky work assignments.
