Subject: HeisMan-ziel? Can the freshman take it?

So who takes the Heisman this year?  Manziel has put up great numbers, but he has three strikes against him, which usually means you're out.  He is a freshman, and has two losses.  However the last two games on his schedule are against lesser defenses so he could really put up some numbers.

Colin Klein is the favorite, and for good reason.  His numbers are comparable to Manziel.  However two things big things seperate them.  First being Klein is undefeated and quarterbacks the now #1 team in the nation, but the second is that Klein has put up these numbers against the gas can defenses of the Big 12.

Kenjon Barber is the best running back in the country but not Heisman worthy in my opinion.

Manti Te'o - a linebacker winning the Heisman?  Not since 1945 when Doc Blanchard won, oh and he also happened to play running back (1/2 of the best tandem in the country) and do place kicking as well.

It's a little late for any dark horses but what do you think BT?

At this point it looks like Collin Klein, unless their team has a total collapse.

Johnny Football is certainly one to watch for the future.

Yep, hard for Johnny to win the Heisman when he's not allowed to speak to the media.  He's got at least 2 more years in ColFB.  Let's enjoy them.

It will be Klein barring a big collapse. The other big strike against Manziel is his LSU game. His performance cost them that game.

Um I would say Bertolet leaving 7 points on the field is what lost that game. Johnny got shut down a lot and turnovers didn't help.

+1

Although it would be nice if the ND LB won.

Teo is a great LB, but IMO the best LB in the country is on the same team as Colin Klein. Arthur Brown is a bad, bad man.

Very interesting... You should say you taught him everything he knows...

Don't say you're him or you'll end up like this guy: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2109054
