Subject: Best Alternative to Running?I've just been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and my doc has told me to take a complete break from running for a few weeks. My question - what's the best alternative exercise that will preserve as much of my running fitness as possible? Will increasing my bike work do it? (I could certainly fit more cycling into my training schedule) Or should be I doing something like the elliptical machine at the gym? Something else? Thanks for your advice. |
