Recession

I am anxious to see how quickly he signs a deal with China.

The sooner, the more concessions he made. While China is being hurt by tariffs, their tolerance to pain is infinite. Leaders don't care, they don't have to be re-elected. The Chinese with not buckle. Trump will buckle if he can spin it.

My prediction is a deal will be signed September or October. One side will make claims of how great a deal it was, the other will claim you buckled. Find a reliable source now and look at their analysis after.

Recession being 2 quarters of negative growth, it's almost inevitable the economy will flirt on one side of the line or the other. In the mean time nerves will bring everything down.

Medium term damage has been done with the trade wars. I think you stood up to China for the right reasons. But you'll probably give in for the wrong reasons.

I hope I'm wrong.

I just spent 6 days in the middle of Nebraska.....small farming community of 350 people or so.  They just laughed when I asked about how the tariffs are hurting them,  because that's what we get from the media.  Nothing but support for President Trump.  They're fine with him holding out on a deal if he needs to.

it hasn't been called off, just deferred until Warren wins the nomination.

But seriously, 4th quarter GDP numbers will be interesting.

Agree.....just having fun.....but geez, what a year so far. It's almost embarrassing to make that much money for doing nothing. LOL. And there doesn't seem to be anything looming that can hurt it too bad. Dude....I wake up every day and say a prayer that Elizabeth Warren wins the nomination.

we don't get fox here so we can't get unbiased data.

It's a shame you don't get Fox. I spend about equal time on CNN, ABC, MSNBC, and Fox. The bias on each is huge....but the hatred on CNN is comical...and they mostly just look stupid. The folks on Fox spend alot of time laughing so it's fun.
