Hi,

Welcome to the team with the longest...name....ever!!!

We will be following two teams on the road in France, the first is Omega Pharma Quickstep which features loved American rider Levi Leipheimer. But Levi is not the only strong rider in an impressive line up that includes world Time Trial champion Tony Martin, French stage winner Sylvain Chavanel and enigmatic French man Jerome Pineau.

If that wasnt exciting enough you then have Team Radioshack Nissans lovable American rider Chris Horner, 4 time world Time Trial champion Fabian Cancellara, last years #3 finisher Frank Schleck and the AWESOME legend that is Jens Voigt....

If you dont know Jens you should... because he makes me laugh in interviews...

Here on BT your team is:

Cagolddigger

Team Omega Pharma Quickstep/RadioShack Nissan?

Why not Team RadioShack Nissan/Omega Pharma Quickstep?

Hmph.

Although, since I'm not on this team, I guess I can't complain.

Then again, you all know me by now. I'll complain anyway.

I was going to takethe day off yesterday after my century on satuday, but I made a committment to the challenge.

So, I just did a short 14 mile ride. It was nice out and I was getting bored sitting at home.

That brings me up to 123 miles so far. Not sure when the spread sheet will be up.

To everyone else, Tracy great 30 miler, Dan a nice 15 miles, hope to see everyone's goals posted and all of you out there riding.

I'm committing to 16 rides and 480 miles over the TdF. Two down, but only 36ish miles. If I don't make this goal, letting down my teamates in this challenge will be the least of my worries with IMMT coming up in August.

Thankfully, Wilson (my tri bike) and I are still on good terms. We'll see how long that holds up. Good luck to everyone.

You just might want to do that Gary as Dorm and I both are on team BMC. Your team won't be let off easy if I have anything to say about it- hehe.

Last night on the way home I got a flat tire. Put up my right arm in an attempt to hail my team car. No such luck, never showed up and I had to change it myself. I thought maybe with this being the TdF challenge one might of shown up with new wheel or bike if need be. Disappointing.

Had the same thing happen last night on my trainer.  You would have thought that the least my wife could have done was to offer to put a new tube in!

Put my numbers in the spreadsheet.  A bit conservative and should beat the miles estimate.

BTW, any recommendations on shortening the name?  Team OPQRSN or Team RadioShack, Team OPQ?

Dorm and I recruited her help for team BMC- we made her an offer she can't refuse. It's top secret information though. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you- hehe.

And nope I wasn't sleeping- I was out riding tons and tons of miles. My bike is my new best friend. The pampered princess is in her glory.

Hey team.  I put my goals in the spreadsheet.  They're a bit lower than most of yours but I'm still learning to love the bikeSmile.  I'm hoping this challenge will get me on it more often and for longer than 20mins at a time.  Getting ready to do my second stage now!

Hey all!

Another 15 miles this morning before we headed off to go tubing.  Just going to go with 10 mile rides on days my plan doesn't call for a ride and then follow my plan the other days.  Intervals today which kicked my tail then 4 hours on the river to recovery.

Hope everyone had a great July 4th!

Went out for a long ride yesterday. 72 miles around Lake Tahoe.

It felt more like an obstacle course with all the nuts up here for the 4th.

Great job everyone on the miles/minutes put in so far. Keep up the hard work.
