Subject: The HI-FI Tri Beach House Thread

Ok, a goodly number of folks expressed interest in the official race thread, so let's firm up who's in to see if there's enough to make it worthwhile. Shouldn't take too many.

Once we have a list of people committed, we can go through the available rentals, update everyone on choices and price for the weekend.  Then we can book it. And then we'll see if we can get a good deal on having a truckload of bananas delivered....

Mike - can you tell us for exactly which nights (two or three?)  the beach house will be available?  And will each individual be responsible for one rate for using it one or all nights, or will it be pro-rated per each night occupied?  Sorry, I am not trying to complicated, I just want absolute clarification.  Thanks!

I thougtht race was sunday.. Oh well I'll be signing up this weekend for the Oly.. I'll be driving down friday night so if I can be included for friday.. I'm unsure if I'll stay saturday night though..

I was super excited about getting a beach house...but (not to mean this in a negative way) my whole family wants to come, so we're staying at the Moody Gardens.

That said, I would love to come hang out at the beach house for an afternoon or an evening!!! I've only met about 3 BT'ers and I'd love to meet more of you guys.

I'm thinking Friday and Saturday nights. If we get enough people to charge per night we'll do that. If response is low, we may have to do one price for the weekend and stay what nights you can. Depends on the interest.

Looks like I'm in for the race after all!

As for the house, Carey is up for us staying there as long as there's a high likelihood of us getting an actual bed that we can both fit in.

We'd be there for Friday night only.
