For those of you that are located in or around the central Illinois area there is a new 5 mile race that is being put on by a fellow BT’er (JenniG) that just opened its registration.  It’s a 5 mile course and its really fast and guaranteed flat (come on its central Illinois!) Here are the details.

Should be a good race.  The training group for the Frostbite Festival (10 mile race in December) are kicking off their program with this race.

The bike is as good as mine.

I don't know... I think we might have a conflict of interest . We might be exempt from winning it. Jen?

How could it possibly be construed as a conflict of interest? All I have done is enjoy Matt's monster cookies...

HMM we know Matt pretty well and we train with and talk to Jenni a lot. But any dang way... you can have the bike! I want the chiropractic readjustment.

I am trying to recruit people from my office to run this as an office challenge... Even instigated a little smack talk.

That cruel comment was based on a pic of me from the Healthy Women's Biathlon (I am on the left for anyone here who doesn't know me) wherein I was wearing cycling glasses for what was supposed to be a cycling event.  Mr. House chose to ridicule my choice of eyewear. So now I wear those suckers EVERYWHERE!!!!
