I have an '05 Aloha, the one that came with the Dura Ace drivetrain, and it's one hell of a bike for the price. It's every bit as good as any other aluminum tri bike, and in a great price range. If you shop around, you can probably find an '08 1.0 for under a grand - I've seen them at that price recently.

I forgot to mention, the Motobecane Nemesis is the same bike as the 1.0, and it sells for $1k at Bikes Direct. There's also a Nemesis Pro which is Dura Ace spec for a couple of hundred more.

And if you just recently bought one (like I did) Performance Bike will refund the difference in price if it's within 90 days of the day you purchased the bike.

I wonder how long this will last.  I can't buy one online, because I've never had a bike fit done, and I don't feel like buying blind.  I'll be back in the states and going bike shopping the second week of July.

I'm pretty sure from when I bought my Aloha last fall that Performance has a return policy on bikes (90 days, maybe?) - you could order it, then return it if it's not the right size.

I have a 2008 Aloha that I love!!

Great deal - got it for about $1000 at Performance, and then got the 10% rewards points. And lifetime tune-ups.
