ellen.... you can't be up yet...

the time on your post was 5:17 (my time).  Shoot.....I was up for over an hour by then.  I can't even sleep past 5 if I want to anymore!  But I did not workout. I'll do that when I get home in a while, either with the Sox or the Bruins on.  Life is good!

How were your tests ellen. I just finished my presentation with only an hour and half till class. I get a couple of weeks break after tonight.

Enjoy your break Kevin.  Three more weeks and til mine.  It's only two weeks off then summer session starts.

Let's see, the Spanish was a 1 on 1 oral exam with the instructor and he didn't get to me today. That just means I have all weekend to dread it.  But I did get a 95 on the math exam.  I asked the professor to look at it before I left because I would be nuts waiting until next tuesday to see how I did.  He corrected it in less time then it took for me to put my name on it. 

Next tuesday I have a 10 page paper due and a history test.  It's not going to be a fun weekend.

Ten page paper- Yikes I feel sorry for you. I got a 100 on my presentation and a 93 on the test we got back from last week. Now I can concentrate on training again. Congrats on the test.

A ten page paper! Good luck. I don't think I could write another paper right now; I'm too lazy. I do have one final exam, in Law, next Thursday and that is it until next September!!!!!!!

Michel, you'd like one of the classes I'm taking this summer, Western Political Thought - Plato to Present.  Ought to be good, as long as I can stay awake!  My schedule for the summer is very different from how it is now.

Oh, you are going to love that course; I took it two years ago and was spellbound by it. In the first term we concentrated on Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, St Augustine, and two eastern philosophers. In the second term we took Machiaveli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Alex de Toqueville, Nietzche, and Lenin. The last two I did not particularly like but it made for interesting, albeit banal, reading. Keep me posted on this one; I would be particularly interested in the essays you will be writing. I had to write three essays for that course, one of which was on Machiaveli and "Virtu".

someone remind me when I am teaching NOT to assign long writing projects! (unless I really feel like reading them all!)

DO NOT ASSIGN LONG PROJECTS WHEN YOU'RE TEACHING!

DH and I are both teachers and it's crunch-time and we're behind on grading and students want/need their stuff back and ....... I got to my office with HIS stack of blue books last Friday. Sigh....

I'll keep reminding you, if you like. Now someone remind ME!
