Training has been good. Just got done with Lake Meridian Tri. I have family over there so I come over some to race. That was a oly race, now I have to strech my mileage.

Hopefully!  I'm not sure what to expect of myself, time-goal wise.  I haven't been riding as strong as I was back in May

Here's hoping the good weather we've been having shows itself on race day!

I have had some good races this year but they have been oly races. I am hoping for around 5 hours but that may be to fast for this distance. Happy training.

I will be doing the long course as well. This will be my very first half iron distance. my training has not been the most consistant over the last month but I am still looking forward to a great race.

I will be there on Saturday.  This will be my 3rd half iron distance and I am looking forward to 3rd time being the charm as my 1st two attempts at 70.3 I melted down on the run. (Literally....temps were 100 degrees on the run course both times)  Curious to see how cooler temps will affect my run!

Weather is looking good, low of 59 and high of 76 and sunny!  I'm looking forward to a fun-filled day.

On another note, I swam at Nolte State Park on Saturday and the water is a bit chilly, so I'd recommend a full wetsuit if you have one.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been thinking about what to wear on the bike. Can't wait, only 3 days left.
