Champion 8903     |  Subject: Argh I'm STUCK!!How do you get Super Glue off your fingers? Those damn tubes, you buy one, it works great the first time. Then you put it on the shelf for 6 months, it hardens in the nozzle, so the next time you use it, you squeeze hard to get any out....and it comes shooting out like a geyser, running all over the place. Here's what I've done: 1. Washed fingers in acetone 2. Washed fingers in gasoline 3. Washed fingers in Gumout carb and choke cleaner 4. Let it dry and surfed through BT posts while peeling it off like 2nd skin Next step is just to start the belt sander and grind the shit off! When I was a little kid, I was always the one who stepped in the dog poop. |

Pro 3906 St Charles, IL | Subject: RE: Argh I'm STUCK!! Find local hobby store that sells r/c model planes. Get some CA glue remover. ( Superglue is CA glue ) I used to build model planes, and that's the only way to get the stuff off your hands, unless you feel like waiting a couple days, or using the belt sander. A hardware store might have it too. -C |

Champion 7558 Albuquerque, New Mexico | Subject: RE: Argh I'm STUCK!! Max, Treat the tubes as "single-serving" containers. Use what you need, throw the rest away, and get a fresh tube next time. Around here, I can find the generic stuff at 3 tubes per dollar. Maybe not so ecologically friendly, but it doesn't sound like you have any problems with the first use. If you want a real treat, try getting the expanding foam gunk (Great Stuff ?) off your hands and tools! |
