Subject: BT response time this week?
Is anyone else experiencing slow response time on the site this week? It is CRAZY SLOW at work, especially the BLOGs. I mean it is taking MINUTES to get into my own BLOG then it just loads forever when I try to get to other people’s BLOGS (and I’ve tried to visit several.)

The forums are sporadic for me but the PM seems to be okay.

Oh, and getting the login page took forever as well.

I am so far behind in visiting my friend’s BLOGs and leaving inspiration…

Were checking it out.  Mdaddy noticed it too this morning and put in a note to the programmer.

Anybody else?  Days, times and details are very helpful.

Not quite the same thing, but possibly related?

I've noticed that when I reply to a thread, and go back to the forum index, the index doesn't show the most recent post correctly.

Example is the 'Triathlon Talk' forum, and the thread titled 'Fatigue'.  I posted a response, but the forum index only shows the previous reply.  When you open the actual thread, my post is there though.

This happened earlier today, 6/8/06 about 11:30 AM Central time.

The BT speed has been great on my end, both home and the office.

The site is crawling for me again today.

My bookmark is to:
http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/category-view.asp
but it always seems to hang on “6 items remaining,” which I assume are graphics, in the sponsors IFRAME.

How has it been since the 16th?  Have you had a problem with any other sites you go to?  Is it still mostly with the log or other pages?  When you have a problem is it all day?  You shouldn't be getting any 'sponsors' banners' unless you go to that page itself.  What page were you referring to, the category-view.asp?

Sorry with all the questions, but it's sometimes hard to sort these things out.  We have checked on this a few times but we can't seem to find anything after-the-fact.  It could possibly be local service issues if other of your sites could be slow?

When it happens again, post the URL of the pages and the time it happens in your timezone and that may help...and the time that it clears-up.

Sorry about this,

I got an error trying to look at the forums today.  Not sure if it's the same thing, but it was taking forever to load and then this popped up instead of the post I was trying to read.  It happened around 11am EST today.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'

Transaction (Process ID 51) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

How has it been since the 16th? -- It was slow on the 16th but the last few days it's been great.

Have you had a problem with any other sites you go to? Is it still mostly with the log or other pages? -- I haven't had any problems with other sites. I used to be the webmaster here--went back to development --and checked w/ the new webmaster and there were no problems with the firewall/...

When you have a problem is it all day? -- All day!

You shouldn't be getting any 'sponsors' banners' unless you go to that page itself. What page were you referring to, the category-view.asp? -- I wasn’t getting the banners this past time, just SLOW response.

Hope that helps!
