Subject: RE: good goggles?Good goggles are any goggles that don't leak or give you a headache.
I've never tried anti-fogging goggles, so I can't comment on those. For avoiding the inevitable fog, I use baby shampoo. A drop in each eyepiece, spread around with the finger, rinsed out a little in the water -- works great.
Most goggle boxes are not sealed, so don't be shy about opening them up and trying them out in the store. They should stay on your face without the straps around your head. Then you know they will seal around your eyes. If they seal well, they should also not leak. If they do, or you decide they're not comfortable, you can always take them back.
Welcome to the sport!
