x100.  I get so tired of the bashers (sure every field has it's bad apples) but when the chips are down, these are people who put themselves in harm's way every day.  And all first responders. firefighters, EMS, ya never know what nut is gonna be behind door #3.

Speaking of tickets, I had a friend who was all bent, b/c she was pulled over and went to get out of her car and  the guy started yelling "GET BACK IN THE CAR, get back in the car"  and she was all miffed, like she's a 50 y/0 grey hair, what's his prob?.  (ok, so I lived with a UC narc, LOL) and I said, seriously, how does he know you don't have a gun or what have you.  

I can't imagine having a job where everyday you go out and never know what lunacy hides behind a seeming "normal" facade.

And while I was not happy to get the ticket in Jan for having an expired registration, I took the ticket, paid the bill and moved on...2 days later got rearended...if the cop wouldn't have given me the ticket I would have been in an accident with an unregistered vehicle and had my car towed....so thank you to all who serve!
