New user 7 |  Subject: I need two cracked zipps 404 or 808 or something closeI was involved in a wreck and my rims were cracked. I took them off of my bike and had them sitting outside of my house and my mother through them away!!!!!!!!!!! Now i have nothing to show my adjuster. Someone please help. Email back!!!!!!! I am not trying to get over but i am out 1500 dollars and i am soo upset. |

"WOW", back at you...it's not even worth trying to respond to your self-pity...what happened sucks, but bottom line: Blame your mother for throwing them out or blame yourself for leaving the wheels in a questionable place to begin with, but don't even THINK about blaming anybody who states (correctly) that your proposed "solution" is a crime. |

Sorry we didn't want to go down with you by defrauding your insurance company, in addition to letting the whole freakin' world know about it. Bonehead move on your part to leave $2500 wheels lying around. Even stupider by your mom for throwing them out without asking you. But you know what? Sometimes life sucks, and you get to learn from it. On a more positive note, did you take pictures after the accident? I was hit by a car and immediately had my wife take pictures of me, my bike, helmet, etc. - everything that was destroyed in the wreck. If you have before/after pics, or probably even just after pics you might be able to work out something with the ins. company. If not, well, you're probably hosed. We'll feel bad for you, give you some kind words, but I don't think anyone here wants a legal battle on their hands courtesy of you. |

Geez guys, could it be that the OP was actually SINCERE in this post? I read it that way. So, to atc, sorry for the loss of the wheels, that sucks. Good choice in asking and realizing that this would be fraud and deciding against it. |
