Subject: My bike has returned from the bike hospital!!
After 8 days (and one hour and 20 minutes), my bike has returned home to me!! I nearly wept at the site of it.

Ok, maybe not wept--but it was weird how happy I was to have it back. I seem to have caught this little training disease!! It DID cost a pretty penny. (Fork had to be fixed, frame realigned, new tire, seat spoke fixed, BUT the derailer was fixable! yay!) But now I get to try it in the new bike trainer that arrived on my doorstep during my bike hiatus.

Thanks for keeping me entertained with bike accident stories. I feel like one of the gang!

Dana

Glad to hear that your "baby" is back. I know the feeling of not having my bike at hand and it is terrible. Even now, when the roads are covered with snow and ice and I can't ride, it is a good feeling to know that it is in top shape and ready to ride.

If your bike bucks you off, you've just got to get back on.

I've heard that, JR. Hmm. Well, I normally bike to work on a Friday, so I'll check the forecast and if no rain is anticipated, I'll take the plunge (as it were). But... I may walk myself across those bicycle tracks!

:-)

You've got to love battle scars, I think everyone has a couple. For me, mine are a source of pride! I'll tell my friends, yeah I'm
Tri-n, and most of them are sitting on their couches. Although it might be kind of hard to show your battle scars off Dana.
