Well remember these are not your grandpas Huskers anymore.

You guys did put a real beat down last weekend after their coach talked smack to the blackshirts.

Just wait until NU plays a real team.  You wonder why Mr. Osborne didn't want to coach. He saw the talent on the field and knew it would not work.

Back once in 1996 I told one of my clients how bad the back to back defending National Champions were going to cream the Arizona State Sun Devils down in Tempe. It wasn't even supposed to be a game. Yes we had a new quarterback in Scott Frost, but still, he was a stud.

Boy did I learn a lesson. Now, I keep my opinions on such matters pretty close to my chest. I do have opinions, but I just don't trash talk about the huskers any longer. Brings them bad Karma.

All I do know is that god is obviosly a husker fan. Why else would our blood be red?

Come on now if god was a husker fan, he would have made the drive from Badlands to Lincoln a little more interesting than it is!


Maybe he just wanted to make it more safe. If you fall asleep driving in Nebraska you have 150 miles of fields on either side of the road to give you a chance to wake up.

Good point.  Never thought of it that way.  You do that in Colorado and you are going off a mountainside!

Maybe because the smack talk is more interesting than the game? I listened to some of it on Saturday but on paper the Huskers should have lost. For the 4th straight season I'm not looking forward to conference play.
