I know this one is going to spark a debate, but as a northeast resident I've not yet had a chance to get on the "chipotle" train. Until recently, that is.

On a trip to OH, I recently had the chance to sample the goods at the big C, and I have to say that although Chipotle makes a pretty good 'rrito, Moe's remains superior. More on my experience here

Thoughts?

Moe's is to Chipotle what Chipotle is to Freebird's... and that is to say, a disgusting hack.

Sorry, that's not very constructive, but I got wicked sick from Moe's once so I have to let that forever affect my opinion.

I just wish it was the "sniffle" kind of sick, I would have sold my soul to have it just be the "sniffle" kind of sick.

And Comet's right, that's a really nice looking Chipotle, where is that?

It's in Sharonville, OH - about 20 mins north of Cinci.

I figured they were all this nice...

They are nice, and all I've been to are VERY clean. Ours are usually chrome (aluminum looking building) and a burnt red color. The brick is much nicer.

That's funny, I've been by that one and didn't even recognize it. I frequent one about 20 minutes down the road from there in Fairfield and it's got more of the aluminum thing going on.

I've been to both Chiptole and Moe's and I think I prefer Chipotle over Moe's. Moe's doesn't really taste like much to me and they always have stale chips. Yuck. Granted, Chipotle can occasionally be too spicy, but at least it tastes like something.

The only thing good about Moes is the names of everythng. And you can see my posts in the other thread about food for my opinions about Burritos. The only decent chain is Freebirds. I don't trust a place owned my McDonalds.

Qdoba's better. (ducks)

How wierd is this: The local Chipotle is right next door to McDo's, but there are big signs all over warning that you will get towed if you park in the McDo lot and eat at Chipotle...

I have to agree on the Q'doba vote.  Never had either Q'doba or Chipotle until we moved to MN (go figure - Minnesota!) and the Q'doba gets my vote (and, if it matters, the vote of my 9 year old who can down an entire burrito himself after two hours of swim practice - much to the surprise/delight/horror(?) of any adult in the place.  Somehow neither my husband nor daughter are into burritos. Gene pool gone awry I guess.

Because McD's spun of Chipolte's... there are so many threads regarding "C" and I just found one today! Granted, it's new ... but not a chain of reconing in SoFla. Really. It's a decent fast food stop? I spend a lot of time on the road and it would be nice to have a vegetarian fallback. Thanks all!!!
