Graphic artistry, that is.

I want to get some buttercup temporary tatts made (to imprint under the BT tatt). Here is a photo of buttercup. Can someone create a graphic image of a buttercup to submit to the temporary tatt company? Your gratis work is muy appreciated and will be rewarded with gratis buttercup tatts (10 sound fair?). The size should be 2"x2".

Here are the specs required by the tatt company:

  • Please send your artwork using CMYK defined colors at 300 ppi, or better. Saved as EPS or TIFF.
  • Provide the application file and all associated support files. We accept files from the following software Programs: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Please export Macromedia FreeHand files to Illustrator format.

Thank you!

Huh?

"Suck it up, Buttercup!" - the most talked about sign at IMAZ last year.

How about "S.I.U.B." under the logo?

Renee, I saw a shirt yesterday that said "All About Me" on it. I thought of you. I almost bought 2.

Renee, do you just need that jpeg file converted to a 300dpi cmyk file?  Or do you need graphic work done on it so it is more tat worthy.

I can help with the former, but not the later.

I need the stuff that is not a flower to be cropped out. And as for the rest I have no idea what you are talking about.

I think you're saying leave it as a photo, rather than a ... drawing? How would a photo transfer as a temporary tatt, I wonder...

Sounds like it would be much easier to just duct tape an actual buttercup to your a$$.

now who says that kinkos managers aren't powerful....

Renee, do you have the non-shrunk-for-BT picture?

Being that its already a raster graphic, the starting resolution iwll be very critical to meeting the print requirments. (since afterall "printing" is the feild i work in)

If you just need the green removed, I can do that for you, but not until next week. Do you have time?

The file would still look like a photo, although maybe I could apply a filter to it and give it a more drawing like feeling.

btw, did you steal this image?... 'cmon fess up...

Renee, I've PM'd you links to three files which might be what you need. All three are Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (Mac byte order) uncompressed image files, two inch by two inch CMYK at 300 dpi. (this makes for large file sizes in EPS and tiff format, which are uncompressed image formats).

buttercupbackground.eps -- eps file of the original image, WITH the original background, 3.1MB
buttercup1.eps -- eps file, background cropped, 3 MB
buttercup.tif -- tif file, background cropped, 1.9 MB

Anyone care to check my work? I don't pretend to have done the best photochop job here, just the fastest.
