I see the other teams out there have their own threads so I figured we need our own motivation hotline. One week down and three to go. How's everyone doing?

Not too bad. Doing well with my swimming goal but the running is a challenge. This week I'm tapering and next week it should pick back up.

How bout it Green team! I was looking for a picture of something green to motivate everyone but I'm not sure they make green bikes. I didn't want to use Kermit so I figured I would go with the most reliable, good ole hard working John Deere tractor. Now if that doesn't motivate you I don't know what will. Hope everyone is having a productive week and remember nothing runs like a Deere.

THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!   I loved my Green Machine when I was a kid!  I could get some wicked crazy power slide action going on.  Damn that brings back memories!

Surprisingly I'm more than half way to my swim goal, but my running is lagging.  I did though run a mile today for the first time in 9 months so there are improvements.  I'm really going to have to step it up though to make my goal by the end of the month.  I've signed up for a 5K for motivation and I got my wife to do it to so she will be running with me...hopefully.

I Know I'm slacking in the swimming area. Those numbers should go up over the weekend and next week. I promise "Green Machine" to pick it up.

C'mon Green, we're so close! We can't let orange win! We've been in second place almost the entire time, let's kick some butt this last week and beat 'em!

Hey guys,

Well unfortunately I have pulled or strained something in my hamstring. The past week plus, has been very light on running, and I'm thinking I have to stop running for awhile to let it heal completely. I've never had a ham injury before, so I just don't know. But... it is bothersome and always reappears when I try to run... ugh.

Sorry to be a let down!!!

Well I acutally met my goals for the month but it took until the very last day to do it.  I'm happy that I did it, but I think I can do much better next month.  I am actualyl going to set some stretch goals and see how I do.  I'm also going to make sure I get more biking in.  Sucks that bestbets got a hammy injury.  Hope it heals fast, but make sure it heals before you stress it again.  Better to be down for a couple of weeks instead of a couple of months.
