Subject: DFW 50+ mile rides Saturday?
I'm looking for a 50-65 mile ride Saturday morning of the 16-18mph variety, preferably not on the now 90% chip-seal Celina loop. Anyone interested or have idea on where to go?

I'm pretty sure The MILKwoMAN wanted to go for an easy 65 this weekend, so you might look her up.

I'm out for this weekend, isnt' there a great pre race speach this weekend with an aquabike?? prairieman??

maybe next weekend though. the area that the frisco RBM goes is around legacy/121 and is a 10-15 mile loop depending how you go.  if you do it early the is little traffic. at least it's not chip seal

I'll be getting on the Trinity Trail over here in little ol' Foat Wuth on Sunday morning.  I start somewhere in the middle and ride to one end and back for around 40, then head the other way for the balance.  Jill may be going similar type miles on Saturday, though.

I will probably ride on Saturday depending on the baby situation.  Wife is due any day now plus she has a massage at 10:00 so I need to be home for that.  I will probably go early though and ride this route.  Some major roads but I have never had any problems on them.

I will probably leave at 6:30 if the wife says it is okay.  Otherwise I will probably go in the heat of the afternoon.  I have not asked/been granted permission to do anything yet.

I will probably average around 18mph (ride time) but you could easily extend the route to 50.

Good route, I'll give it a closer look. I like that I can start from my apartment too.

Do you have a way to export this to a cue sheet? I thought there was a way from the route manager, but I don't see it.

I never actually created cue sheets so they are not available.  You would probably have to redue the route from your apartment and then make cue sheets.

Yep, just did. That took awhile, but at least I now have a 50 mile route from my apartment.

Yep, it can take some time and that is why I have not done it.

Didcha ever decide where you're heading?

I'm thinking of just heading north on 289(preston rd) starting in Prosper and turning around in Sherman (at 56).

I modified Ken's route to start from my house. I'm leaving at ~7am tomorrow and seeing what kind of time I can make.

Cool, I might see you out there then.  I am leaving a little earlier though.
