so it appears ISM is adding to its popular lineup with a few new goodies, including an off-road trail saddle (The Peak), a serious road racing saddle (Peloton), and a new rear-mount bottle bracket specific to the oft-difficult-to-retrofit Adamo (Quickdraw).

I have the US Olympic race model, love it. Not sure how the Peloton is different except slightly narrower in the back? The model holder is neat, especially if it works as well as they claim, but looks awfully complicated to mount.

I looked at it again and I don't think it's really that hard - the piece of hardware that extends back at a 45* angle from under the saddle looks like just a slider-adjuster mechanism to raise and lower the entire rear unit once mounted, to get it into the best position. I like the idea of being able to angle the rear cages around like they show.

I just don't like the idea of giving up the integrated tri-hook at the rear for mounting at transitions.

Road and Tri both have the hook.

I sent a totally serious email to Blackwell a few weeks ago asking if they could do one with a salmon steak patterned cover or at least in that color. They actually emailed me back saying they, too saw the resemblance but it's not cost effective to do so. If I could get 200 others to want one, they'd do it, though.

Any takers? It would be effing hilarious to ride a salmon steak saddle. Talk about providing some levity to a triathlon.
