I know there are a few of us registered (or still considering?? ) the Hypo 1/2  at Fort Whyte - I'm going to try the early wave this year ... what about the rest of you?

Got in on the early wave.  Yeehaw!  Hopefully, the weather co-operates and no one freezes anything off...

If there's any room left, I guess I'll sign up for the early one. I'm not sure why I'm not opting to sleep in (Sann!!!), but I spose it's better to get it over with early!

I'm definitely going to get a set of grips for this winter, though!

Leave food??? Well, we will see - depends on hard a race it is that day.

Wow, we have quite a gang of Manitobians on bt now! Too bad we did not co-ordinate for registration. Grant - how did you miss it all together this year? Damn. You are the one responsible for me running it in the first place.  Debating on joining you guys for the resolution run - though I guess I should check if it is filled now too.

Look forward to meeting you Adriane and Elsa.   Are you running it bigblue1ca, or were you just the bearer of the bad news?

I'm in the 10:00 a.m. wave. What can I say....I like to sleep in a little when given the opportunity.....also if it's cold and icy that day, I'm hoping it'll have warmed up a little by 10....well see.

who the hell runs more than 20 k's in the dead of winter in Winnipeg? well i guess i do, signed & scared as hell, my lungs don't like the COLD weather.
my plan is simple, keep running to tim hortons, have hot chocolate & donuts & then go to the next.
i'm in the 8;30 wave, because it should be colder in the first wave.

So I called the RR today to see if there was a waiting list or something that I could go on in case someone bails out of the race. Of course, the answer was no, but the young lady said I should keep my ears open for someone selling their race number; then I could race in their name.

That said, keep your ears open for me for bailers, would you folks? I'd really like to do this one again.

There is still room in the WALKING wave in the AM. No one will stop you if you start to run right?
