During my first block my 8th graders were working on a mythology project, creating their own god/goddess. One of my boys brought up his drawing to show me and proudly pointed out his god's cape: a thick slice of bacon. I almost blurted out "did you know there are bacon flavored condoms now?!" But, luckily my teacher self censored my impulsive blurting self! |
