The top picture is the part that I made, and I have two others that are being worked on and sold to people requesting them from either BT, or from BT friends that shared my FB page of wire art things.  But, I have had requests to make the large part into a pendant.  I can't do that with the wire that I have, so I have done some work and I got a file made of my art to a .dxf file, that I am sending out for quotes to get it made into a pendant.  The problem is trying to laser cut some of the parts and not get it to burn.  That and I have no idea on the costs per part yet, but I am very happy with the work that has been done taking my art piece to a different place.  So the bottom picture is a prototype of the first laser cut of my wire art piece.  I am not sure of the size of this piece, but I am asking for quotes in different sizes to see what it will cost me.  I just thought others here might like to see what is being done.

The pictured part is 2" diameter.  I looked at a lot of necklace/pendant and the largest is 2", and I am wondering if that is too big.  One of the people that requested this part is asking for 1.5" outside diameter.

Help me out triathletes that would wear something like this.  Or the males and females that may wear something like this.

What say you?????

2" is pretty big. 1.5" would be better.

Here it is after a local jewelry builder helped me out.  This piece is 1.5" in diameter.  She did a quick clean up job on the laser cut.  Then she added a jump ring and then a ball chain necklace to it and to a picture for me last night.

I just got the order placed and they should arrive in about three weeks.  I will be then cleaning them up and getting them ready for sale.  I will be selling them as just the pendant, with a jump ring, with a jump ring and ball chain necklace, and with a jump ring and a ball chain for a key ring.  Pricing to come shortly, once I know all of the shipping costs involved.

I will be doing a posting in the for sale section on BT as I have already asked for and received approval from Marmadaddy.

Pretty cool. You might consider marketing a version to race directors to use as a unique finisher's medal, with a sterling version for the podium finisher's.

I will hopefully get them on the classified section, and then post a link on this page.  Will also do my FB page.  Trying to set up an ETSY page also.
