Subject: Thread posting weirdness
Hi.

Firefox 3.0.11, Win XP

Off and on for the past few days, posters in TAN have been complaining about issues with posting. i myself have noticed some problems; i've only noticed it in TAN, although i haven't been posting much anywhere else lately...

What happens is when you click "Submit," you are brought back to the last page of the thread, but instead of refocusing to your post, you're brought to the top of the page. Why? Because while your link directs you to refocus to your post, your post does not appear in the thread. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, your post is not there.

What's odd about this is that if you then click out to the main COJ page, your post appears at the last post. Clicking on the "last post" link from the COJ main page does NOT bring you to your post, though, because your post still does not appear in the thread.

At some seemingly arbitrary point in the future, your post will appear, usually with multiple posts wondering why your last post did not show up.

Kinda weird...

For instance, right now, COJ's page says that olliedawg's post at 2:24PM is the last post, but if you click that link, you go to Yanti's post at 2:14PM... And i know i posted twice after 2:14PM...

Is this only happening in TAN?

TAN is the only thread i've posted in with enough frequency to have noticed a problem...
