Can you tell me how it compares to Pewaukee as far as course?  It's smaller too, right?  I hope so.
Since Pewaukee's timing chip didn't work I'm jonesin to do another one asap!  I want to know how I fare in these things!

The course....

The swim:

the water is always calm, and warm.  It is and out and back 1/3 mile swim.

The Bike:

22 miles of moderate hills around the holy hill area.

The Run:

5k of mixed trail run and subdivision running.

It is longer distance overall, but a lot smaller (around 500 people).  It is a great race for a great cause.

another major difference is that it has two transition areas.  One for the Swim to Bike, and one for the Bike to run.

I did it a few years ago, and got a nice swim suit full of seaweed...(not a huge issue, there is room in my swim suit top....sigh)...is this still an issue??? Not that I really care, just wonderin'. What's the date this year?

edit...and when I did it, one transition area...

I'm in this one as well and can't wait. The volunteers are awesome and it's for a good cause. I may have to edit Rosshole's "moderate hills" to "some moderate with a couple of monsters thrown in" though.

"monster hills"  Oh well, once you get to the top you get to go FAST.

See you all there!

The speedy downhill after a monster is always fun, though.

That's what makes it worth it!

Camp Whitcomb is a challenging, and long bike course for a sprint.
