Roswell Loop ride Tuesday 9/9 at 6:00 pm

Hey,

 Can you give me little more detail about where that is?  Also, what's the distance you're planning?

We meet at the Roswell Rec Park:

Once you turn into the park take your first right.  At the top of the hill is a big building and parking lot.  We park in front of the building.  The building has bathrooms and water fountains if you need either.

We generally go about 23 miles and then for beer and dinner if you want. 

 What distance and pace are you looking for?

I can manage 15 to 20mph for 23 miles, especially if I have someone to draft behind.

I probably wouldn't be able to manage more than 23 miles at this point.  I'm still kinda newbie.

Sounds like you will be fine.  You can draft me all day! 

Look for the ones with bike racks on them.    I have a black Mazda3.  We will be standing around with our bikes.  The upper parking lot is not that big.  You can't miss us.  We usually park near the handicap parking.

I'm busy at work this week and won't be able to be there today. 

I'll see everybody on the Thursday ride.

I am not so sure that I want to ride in the rain.  I will be there at 6:00 no matter what the weather looks like.  I rode 16 miles this morning just in case we get rained out tonight.

Yeeeeaaaaaaaa.  No one showed up.  Thankfully some guy named Chris (he said tell those BTers that Big Zim says they're weenies ) rolled around at about 6:30 and took me on the route.  I normally would have just gone on my own, but I'm pretty unfamiliar alot of the area.

Oops - sorry about that.  I actually rode from home (I live off Eves Road on the course) and called Neal to let him know.  I was under the impression that Neal was going to be there one way or the other to either ride or let peeps know the ride is off.  Glad Big Zim took you on the Roswell tour and you got your ride in regardless!

I'll try to post next time if I'm not gonna show, but only problem with that and it being due to weather is that it's usually when peeps are on the way to the ride and away from the computer.  I didn't decide to ride from home until about 5:15.

My apologies also... I actually got there at 5:22.  Lisa called me and said she was not coming as I was on my way.  Nora called and decided not to come. Doug called and said he was not coming.  I do not know what time I left (it was before six), but it was still raining when I left.  If I had known you were coming and had your number, I would have called you.
