Elite  2553    Tucson, AZ |  Subject: Amazing Race starts tonight!Any other Amazing Race fans? This is my favorite "reality" type show. My husband and I like predicting which team will make it to the end. Anyways, the new season starts tonight! Can't wait!  |

Master 1641  Seattle, California | Subject: RE: Amazing Race starts tonight! That was one of the few reality shows that I liked on TV, but alas I no longer have cable and my antena only gets one fuzzy channel. I guess that help get my but off the couch and onto the road more often . |

I just got home from work and realized I forgot to tape it I have watched every season except for the family one. If I ever tried to be on that show with my husband we would end up getting divorced I think. It really can bring out the worst in people. |

| Veteran 465 Michigan | Subject: RE: Amazing Race starts tonight! Love the Amazing Race! They get some pretty interesting characters on the show. The hippies are a little over the top - they have to be hamming it up for the show. No one is that strange in real life, right? Little pet peeve about last night's show - the teams kept saying SAN Paulo. They were actually in SAO Paulo, Brazil. Wonder how many people noticed that? We just took a family trip to Scottsdale (from Detroit) which sealed the fact that my husband and I would not come out of the Amazing Race alive! I hate when he asks me if he should go right or left and when I say right, he goes left! And he gets so uptight, whiny and stressed when we run into travelling issues. I am more of a problem solver. I hate when people complain instead of taking action. Complaining is just a waste of energy. Guess we would be the constantly fighting couple if we were on the show. |

| Member 12 | Subject: RE: Amazing Race starts tonight! My dad and I are applying to be on the show next year. We get along great, and we both love to travel, I think we'd make a good team. And most importantly...we have common sense!!! Half of the people that go on that show have none at all! |

| Extreme Veteran 474 Sydney | Subject: RE: Amazing Race starts tonight! We had some of my wifes friends over for dinner a couple of weeks ago. One of them said that she would love to see us on it as we would be one of the worst couples ever. I pressed and asked if we would be worse than the freaky "millionaire" couple from last series and she thought that, yes, we would be. We were pretty offended. I contacted the production people but they said they wouldn't allow overseas contestants. I guess that seeing as we now have our very own "Biggest Loser" (BTW - one of the guys set the record for the biggest ever one week loss in his first week - he's now lost 20kgs in two weeks!!!) maybe one day we will get our own Amazing Race (failing that, my company has mentioned a move to NY). |
