I am just trying to get a feeling for who all would be at RunningFit's Woodstock festival of fun...  are you in?

All events take place on a single track through Michigan wilderness. 5 Mile, 10K, Full & Half Marathon, 50K, 50 Mile and 100 Mile events offered.  I beleive there is also a 5k on Friday night.  Events are spread out over the weekend... so you can sign up for one of the big races and get a free 5k, I think.  I cannot get to the website (bandwidth issues, yay) but go to www.runwoodstock.com for more info.

I am thinking about the half marathon... and a few other events.   Oh, and camping.

wow, bandwidth problems here, too.  That NEVER happens for me at work.

I wonder if I might be interested in that 5k Friday night in the dark thing and I also wonder if they allow dogs to camp.  Further, I am wondering how my shakey little greyhound would do camping.

Your greyhound is only the cutest most adorable thing ever.   They may not allow dogs, but what about cute adorable things?  Now who would have a problem with that?  Sickos, that is who.

Finally got into the website.

A weekend of Running, Peace, Running, Love and Running … and nothing but Peace, Love and Running!

All events all take place on silent single track through Michigan wilderness.

We’ll kick off the weekend with a Friday Far Out 5K. A sunset run with a psychedelic candle lightshow sort of feel as the headlamps start clicking on - far out man.

Saturday morning brings the Flower Power 5 Mile, Mellow Marathon, Hippie Half Marathon, Freak 50km, Peace, Love & Fifty Miles 50 Mile and the Hallucination 100 mile run. YIkes! All runners are invited back to run a Saturday Sunset Trippin' 10K and Sunday morning's Free Love 5 Mile.

Along with entry into any of Saturday morning’s events, add the Friday 5K, Saturday night 10K or Sunday morning 5 Mile for no additional charge! Run it all man!

Join the Race Crew at Crooked lake Campground all weekend as we keep the fire lit and the chi flowing with a mantra of … miles. Party the night away after the 10K and channel your positive vibes to the 100 milers as they are spirited away for the night with an endless endorphin buzz on.

All run events start and finish at Silver Lake Beach. All strange events will be at the Commune, including a showing of the Woodstock documenatry, yoga session and ... stuff we can't mention!

I think I might do the 1/2 and the 10k later in the day to get my 20 miles in for my marathon training. I might be crazy enough to do the 5k on Friday also. We just bought a HUGE tent so camping will be had. It sounds like good times

Hanging with Trixie has some amazing effects on the head, doesn't it?

My hubby is seriously contemplating it (half-ish) and we're tossing around camping... but not sure if we can handle it yet with the little dude.  I'd be game for a 5k or something if we're already out there.  Looks like a cool even though!

I am seriously toying with the idea of the 5 mile or the HM.  Probably the 5 mile and then all the other races that come with it, the 5k on Friday, the 10k on Saturday, and the 5 mile on Sunday.  Why not?  And the camping thing.  Me loves camping.  I am a hippie at heart.  Afterall, I was born during the 60's.

Who is in for this? I think I am doing the 5k Friday, HM and 10k Sat. We will also be camping in a huge tent so if someone needs a place to crash you could.
