What's everyone racing this weekend. I want to race but am having trouble finding a race. I intended to do Newburyport but it's sold out. I'd love to head to Nantucket but that doesn't really fit my schedule.
Any other races out there this weekend?

Ooh... I know it's not next weekend, but is anyone doing one of the Climb to the Clouds routes?

Here you go.

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/directory/index.asp

I know where the race directory is, just wanted to see what people are racing this weekend. Plus, I've done a race that wasn't listed on that directory so I also wanted to see if there are any unlisted races that I don't know about.

I am doing Mill City at Lowell on Sunday.  They have both sprint and oly.
Swimming in the Merrimack River!  Upstream on the way out.  ha.
Doing the aqaubike version of the oly distance as my knee will not be able to handle a 10k.

I'm racing Black Fly Tri up in Waterville Valley, NH.  My second Endorfun event and I'm pumped about it!  Keith and crew put on a great show judging from the Mooseman event, so I'm really looking forward to see what they do with this event (as it's the inaugural year).

Ultimate Frisbee tournament in Andover.  More fun and the registration fees are cheaper Cool.

Before I realised they were the same weekend, I was going to do the Amesbury sprint.  Now I'm thinking of doing the Littleton Appleman next sunday.

Since I live in Lowell, I might go watch the Mill City race on Sunday as I usually can't walk for a couple days after playing ultimate for 8 hours.

Hey let us/me know how that event goes- I was going to do it but already committed to another race before I found out about it.

I'm racing the Norway Sprint Tri in Maine- 3hrs away, but its near the 'rents house and only 150 racers!  Finally a swim start without getting bashed in the ribs/head/legs  LOL

rcberto and I are doing the Old Colony YMCA tri in Middleboro, MA this weekend, which is an International distance.  We went down and did the course last Friday.  Its really flat and I really liked the setup.  Come join us!

Thanks for the responses.

Awesome!  Good luck if I don't run into you.  I'm race #293   And about that water...I've been reading the updates.  Scary!  That's almost 10 degrees colder than Mooseman was and that was a cold swim haha.  Bearable but cold...should be interesting when my fingers won't work in T1 haha

ETA: I will definitely let you all know how it goes this weekend.  Good luck to everyone racing around New England!  Sounds like BT will have a strong showing at many of the local races!

Sorry Denise, I have plans right after the race and needed to do a more local race. Yep, HockeyHands is going to come out and smoke me at his first ever race!

Powow Tri in Amesbury, MA. My first tri ever. 3:30 am and I'm wide awake. I did manage 4 hours of sleep though so I think I'll survive,
