I am a fan of strong coffee. I will drink coffee on the weak side, but I prefer it so that you can stand a railroad spike upright in the brew.

I found this at work this morning:

See-through! Aaaaaaaaack! I feel like this crosses some sort of line. This, my friends, is NOT coffee.

If only it were tea...

Sadly, this tea was made with coffee.

That is not coffee!  It is tea!  When I find that at work it gets flushed immeadiately and a pot that can melt the plastic spoon get brewed!

See what happens in a world where people think Coke and Diet Coke are good morning drinks?

Are you sure somebody didn't just forget to add fresh coffee before brewing the pot?

Makes me think of the shock I used to produce when I'd put in 3 or 4 of the packets of coffee that were intended to brew one full pot.  One woman actually said, "you can't do that".  I think I replied something like, "I can, and I will".  Now I work from home and drink my tar every morning just as I like it.

Yep - that was the morning's second pot. I made the first, and trashed the filter & grounds myself.

So, you actually took a camera into your lunchroom and took a picture of the coffee pot??  Did anyone question this action?? Wink

Brought the pot back to my cube to show my coworkers, who were equally as horrified. Used a friend's high res camera phone. Then promptly poured out the filth and brewed more (i.e. went to Starbucks).

Funny thing....

Just this morning I caught a coworker brewing a second pot by adding a scoop of grounds to the OLD grounds.   NASTY!

Obviously I tossed the brew and started fresh.  What an IDIOT!

Are you sure that isn't Sanka???   Blechh!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - work/live near a Starbucks and you will never have this problem.

My TEA is darker than that!

I don't drink coffee, so this might be a silly question, but I don't see why people complain about making coffee too strong.  Can't they just cut it with water, if they want?  Or does it really change the flavor that much?

I've had guys here do the add grounds and brew another pot.  I'm easy to get along with until you mess with my coffee.  Then I get ugly!

That's not coffee.  That's what was left when someone was called away suddenly, while rinsing out the coffee pot.

Blech!
