This looks like fun.  My distances are not as good as some of you guys but living in the frozen tundra of the Northwoods Wisconsin should give me a boost =).  Get me motivated for my first real winter season to.

I'm back for another run at the title. Already had a few days of rain/snow mix, high winds, and low temps, so I am ready when ever you are. We just need to get everyone else back.

Had a "warm" up ride over the weekend for the challenge.  35 degrees medium winds and drizzle/snow.  Would have been a good day to kick start points.  But unless I start snow shoeing or cross country skiing, won't be able to keep pace with y'all in chillier locations Wink

I've been waiting for this thread to appear.  I'm in again this year, but this time without the tropical winter vacation in the middle of the challenge.. Innocent bring on the snow!

Sounds like fun.  Luckily, I live in BALMY Central Wisconsin, not up North.

I'm here!

Was up in the UP of Michigan a couple weeks ago looking at a College for my son and had some snow.

Guess I need to get my bike out if I want to keep up with the Big boys.

The snow was great, I got a couple awesome runs in before it melted. What school is your boy looking at?

Cool, good for him. I live in Sault Ste Marie, over on the border with Canada. If he ever frinds his was to LSSU for anything he should look me up.

No spreadsheet up yet - just back from Wilmington and the B2B but will get on it this week.

Snow in the forecast next week

We are sending it east,  rain turned to snow tonight, we shall see what tomorrow morning brings.

I'm new to this but excited!  I live in Oregon, so I will not see the extremely low temps, but hope to make it up with heavy rain!

Went out for a ride yesterday - to bad the challenge did not start then missed out on about 400 points =).  It was 25F outside when I started.

On another note does any one have any cold weather bike tips to share?  The biggest issue I had was with my feet.
