Subject: Polar bike computers
Does anyone have experience with Polar computers? I’m curious as to whether they can be mounted on the stem or if I need to get one of those aerobar-mount-adaptor-doo-hickeys.

Well, yes - they have the twisty ties that attach the base (cycling computer) you can get a stem or aerobar to mount the computer as well - if you use a watch and want to mount it I believe it mounts on the handle bar only - I think it is to big for an aerobar mount.  I have mine mounted to the stem -
