Subject: OWSsafety devices
I saw a device on  a competitor yesterday that caught my attention.  It looked like a waist-worn inflatable PFD.  Any info.  I've got access to a lake but am concerned about going out by my solo(not quite as bulletproof as I was/felt 5 years ago.)

You're probably referring to the SwimSafe. There's a picture of some guy in a blue and white tri suit on the left side of their home page. He looks dangerous. I'd avoid him if you seem him at a race.
