Comments: Stopped after about 1 km to go to the toilet lost at lest 2 or 3 minutes. Felt good - no shortness of breath - legs got tired around the 16km mark - 18km felt pretty bad but kept running the whole way - couldn't have gone any faster with my current level of fitness. I was sick a couple of days before hand with a cold and chest infection but didn't seem inconvenienced on the day What would you do differently?: Go the the toilet before the race, get more sleep in the days leading up to the race - not do a hard 2 hour bike ride on the Thursday before the race Post race

Went to bed early - got up at 3:30 had porridge and coffee - left home at 4:03 arrived at the coast 5:03 - walked to the start - had a coffee - went ot the toilet
Didn't do a warm up - should have gone to the toilet again
