My wife and I have tried a few times to make our own healthy bars, with very little success. Any ideas or recipes? Thanks

This is my recipe - the more peanut butter and honey you add, the stickier/chewier it will be.

2 2/3 cup oats
1/3 cup flax seed meal
1 medium banana, smashed
1/2 cup dried fruit
2/3 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbs. cinnamon
1/3 cup applesauce
5-6 Tbs. honey
6 Tbs. natural peanut butter (or more!)
3 Tbs. brown sugar (or more!)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well (will be sticky). Liberally spray an aluminum-foil-lined cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray; spread mixture on cookie sheet to about 1/3 inch thickness (try to cover the entire sheet). Use the back of a spoon sprayed with nonstick spray to flatten the mixture. Bake ~45-55 minutes at 350 degrees, watch for the oats to start browning. Cut into squares or bars after cooling.
