Subject: Baselines for improvement on Run / Bike / Swim Coming from a running background, I've noticed that to improve my times I have to run at least 20 miles per week. I know everyones different, but I'm pretty sure this is close to a mean average (maybe even on the low end). Although I've cycled for a few years, I just kinda go and don't have it down to a science, and still clueless with the numbers I need to do on my swim.
I have two questions regarding this;
Why is it that when I look at others peoples logs most do less than 20 mpw? What is the average persons baseline improvement numbers for the bike and swim? |
