Hello:
  I entered 3 Run workouts - first is a 1 mile distance, second is a 2 mile distance, and the third is a 0.25 distance, but the third entry doesn't appear in the Training Log, but you can edit the day's entry and see the entry (Thu, Apr 29 2010)
  Does the value for the run have to be at least "1" and larger for the entry to appear?

If there's no time, the distance must at least be one. For distances less than one, put in a time of at least one minute and it will show.

There are checks in different places under the hood that test to see if a workout has anything to display. One of the tests is if the total distance+total minutes >= 1.
