Subject: Problem with garmin 305 uploads
I used Mozilla firefox and half the time when I try to upload garmin workouts, my browser freezes after I hear the sound of the "Allow Garmin to Upload" window. Whaddup?

I've experienced the same thing with my 305 and there's an easy solution: regularly delete older workouts from your 305. I usually delete anything older than one month.

The memory on the 305 isn't unlimited, so in order to keep recording workouts as it gets full, the unit degrades data on older workouts. This degraded data can apparently cause problems when it's processed by Garmin Communicator.
