![]() Swim
Comments: I had a great swim! I usually freak out a little in the open water...but today I got my breathing worked well in the crowd. I swam the entire way and was very happy with my performance! What would you do differently?: More practice - longer swims ![]() Transition 1
Comments: I had a good T1 everything went very smoothly. What would you do differently?: Nothing - it was a great transition ![]() Bike
Comments: I had a very good bike today. It was quick. The course was slightly hilly but not too bad. I beleive the hill work I did helped pay off. What would you do differently?: Again simply more practice - especially being comfortable with speed and cornering. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Again another transition I was very happy with. What would you do differently?: Make sure I don't get any rocks in my shoes! ![]() Run
Comments: I had a tough run. It was very hot but it was mostly just a lack of training. I allowed myself to walk to hills and took advantage of all water stations and sprinklers! What would you do differently?: Practice, RUN, Practice! (Hills too!) ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walked around, grapped some gatorade and streched What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training as of late Event comments: It was a great race. Well organized considering the event more than doubled in size from last year. I was happy and it was a PR even with my lack of training! Last updated: 2005-07-17 12:00 AM

I didn't have time to pre register on Saturday so I did a lot of running around. Tried to get to the course as early as possible and beat most crowds
Biked back to my car to put air in my tires...swam a couple laps in the lake
