Pre-race routine:

woke up, got ready, drank smoothie in car on the way to the Hilton, took trolley to T1 dropped off rest of bags, made sure bike was all set, took trolley down to swim start, got wetsuit on and ate a few bites of PB & J sandwich, went down to shore and did a little prehab

more bodyglide on my neck. push a little more for a smoother form in the water. felt a little choppy at times.

Good with goggles and cap off, nice jog to T1, difficulty with getting stuff on since hands were so cold especially compression socks

nice ride. felt good most of the time, bathroom urge from 51 to 73miles but otherwise felt really good. didnt start to get uncomfortable on the bike until the last 45 mins

did ok all things considered. should have had some back up nutrition plan for when I didnt want water or Heed. Other wise legs felt good. know that I can push harder and maybe some day I will.

not fully training for this. as this was a race that was not on my list until June
